In Pictures: Other Humans of Delhi

The capital state of India, Delhi, houses a heterogeneous populace. Life is not easy for everyone here. Few community people have to walk miles to collect the garbage and other household waste every day for their survival.

Nasir Kachroo, a freelance Photographer visited the slum in Okhla area of the Delhi and captured the hard reality of survival.

Slum dwellers have adopted Ram Kumar, a resident of Uttar Pradesh state. The whereabouts of Ram’s family is unknown to everyone in the slum.

Raju is the supplier of the garbage scrap most of the slum dwellers sell collected scrap for Rs.1 or 2 per Kg depending on the material to earn Rs.150 a day.
